5 local celebrities are involved in the shearing competition. None have shorn a sheep before.

and a mystery guest in a Gorilla costume. This will be a great laugh, so come and support these local identity’s as they try and master the art of shearing a sheep – for the first time.

Clash of the Colleges
Get ready for an exciting and fast-paced competition! Over 300 students from across the South Island will be participating in an amazing race-style event on Friday during the show. This event is all about inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in the Ag and Hort sector. And to make it even better, the one and only Tangaroa Walker from Farm 4 Life will be the MC for the day!
